Marlene was born in tropical Mexico, attended school in Austria, and for the last 15 years, she lived in coastal La Jolla, CA. She has a worldly and genuine appreciation for beautiful homes and can warmly arrange living spaces. She has designed and remodeled from Mediterranean style estates to mid-century modern lofts, under the narrative of organically extending the outside-in with her sensibilities for landscape architecture. Marlene became a CA licensed Realtor® in 2004 and started to gain residential experience in the Southern Californian Riviera with Realty Executives International™ by helping clients find their dream homes, showing golf course and ocean view mansion developments by Barrett's Construction. Her listed condos at High Bluff Community in Del Mar, reached the highest record sale prices of all time.

Marlene has since lived and worked in Berkeley, Rockridge and the Oakland Hills, where she has been involved in real estate consulting, remodels, and helping families find safe and comfortable spaces in lovely environments to "nest." There is nothing she wants more than finding her clients' dream home or selling and upgrading their present home, which she does enthusiastically every step of the way.

Marlene has completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, Animal Physiology and Neuroscience with a specialization in Cognitive Science and Pre-medicine curriculum from the University of California, San Diego. Aside from conducting clinical research and serving as a research associate for the UCSD School of Medicine, Marlene has also aided the advancement of cures for hypertension, neurology, rheumatology and immunology by volunteering as a full time researcher in such medical divisions and receiving journal publication mentions. Her volunteering in the community ranges from ER nurse at the VA hospital, science director for the Boys and Girls Club, and as a horticulturalist at Planting Justice.

In her spare time, Marlene enjoys exotic travel, wilderness adventures, jogging, gardening, meditation. She lives in the Crocker Highlands with her two dogs and kindly expects your real estate related calls.
