Edison

Hi! My name is Edison. Originally, I'm from Kings County in Central California. I guess you can call me a "country" dog, but I now live in a loft in the wonderfully urban and sophisticated San Francisco Bay Area. And although museums are nice, I love taking long walks. Chasing birds is my most favorite thing to do (even though I never seem to catch one). And taking long walks. And wrestling with my pet cat. And did I mention that I love taking long walks? Love it, love it, love it. My favorite places are where I can run off-leash. But I don't mind having to be on a leash when walking around the really pretty Lake Merritt area or shopping with my humans on 4th Street in Berkeley where I love sitting outside and eating fish tacos from Tacubaya (yummmm-my). I think the Bay Area is really cool. So many things to do. And the people are cool. And the dogs are cool. Two of my favorite doggie hangout places are Point Isabel (the humans also seem to really love the views of the Bay there) and Heather Farms Dog Park in Walnut Creek, which, by the way, is near where I first met my new humans at Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). You should check it out. Anyway, I love to snuggle in the morning, but once I get up it's go-time, dude. I always like to keep busy. Life's too fun to not take advantage of it. Well, gotta go.
